The Apex Plastics manufacturing facility consists of our recently constructed main headquarters and office building including sales and customer service offices, our large manufacturing area, warehousing, quality control room, and product development room.
Our 22,500 square foot warehouse accommodates customers’ product storage needs. We have the ability to store your products in-house, and deliver them on an as needed basis.
The machines we use are made by some of the best brands in the injection blow molding manufacturing business.
– We have 3 Aoki machines – these multi-cavity single stage injection blow molding machines our for our PET bottle manufacturing.
– We have 6 Bekum machines – these multi-cavity extrusion blow molding shuttle machines are for all things extrusion blow molds.
– We have 8 Hayssen machines – these 2-cavity extrusion blow molding machines are for producing small to medium size production runs. Production runs as little as 5,000 bottles in any color you need/want. These machines gives you, the customer, the advantage for a new product launch with small runs.
– Our production area is a climate controlled environment in order for the end products to have much higher quality bottles. Maintaining the humidity levels at all times keeps the moisture from getting into the molds during production thus cutting back on mold maintenance and eliminating an orange peel surface on the bottles. Controlling these levels give us additional safety measures against dust and debris.
– Our professional quality control lab utilizes vision inspection equipment made by Avid Corporation.
Our inventory of plastic resin is contained in our four large material silos at the Apex Plastics manufacturing facility.
We use a Conair material handling system.
