Apex Plastics had a record year in 2014, and looks to ride that momentum in to 2015.
Apex Plastics had many successes in 2014, including, but not limited to; expanding the plant, adding office space, the hiring of a new sales person, enhancing our online presence, and having a banner sales year. With the success of 2014, Apex is looking forward to having an even better year in 2015. Before looking forward to what is to come, we would like to take a closer look at the successes of 2014.
Plant Expansion
Apex added 1,700 sq. ft. of production space and 2,400 sq. ft. of warehouse space. In addition Apex also installed two new resin silos and a new cooling tower. Apex also built a new 4,000 sq. ft. office space to help better serve you the customer. “We’ve expanded before,” said Apex president Damon Neff, “but past modifications were made to the plant simply to bring us up to speed to meet client needs at that time. With this new expansion, we are thinking well into the future. The new space will accommodate a wide range of anticipated client needs and allow us to creatively engineer project efficiency as we head into the last half of the 2010s.” Apex Plastics also added a Bekum H-155 Blow Molder with MTM Systems 2001D takeout and deflash down-line in 2013. Over the past three years, Apex has invested nearly $4 million in upgraded equipment and facilities to grow with client needs.
New Sales Person
Apex Plastics added a key member to the team when Bryan Hagan was added as Sales Manager this past year. Bryan brings a wealth of experience in plastics sales, and has been a great addition to our team. Bryan focuses on Account Management, Team Building, New Business Development and Strategic Business Alliances. Bryan joins Apex at a time of growth for the company, and his addition has already paid dividends, and we look forward to what is to come.
Updated Online Presence
Apex Plastics, HTI Plastics, and Lincoln Plastics (formerly Geist Plastics), got a new look in 2014. Because Apex Plastics had a record year in 2014, the three companies make up the Plastics Division of PCE, Inc. The decision to update the sites was made in an effort to better serve our customers. In addition to an updated design, the websites also feature improved navigation to provide a more user-friendly experience. The sites were created by the UNANIMOUS a Lincoln-based marketing agency using responsive web design. This allows the sites to be easily viewed on all devices, such as a PC, tablet and smart phone. As the first month of 2015 is drawing to a close, we are already seeing our successes of 2014 pay off in 2015. We had three new pieces of business start in 2014 and they are carrying over to 2015. Apex Plastics is excited to help you with your custom blow-molding project. Visit our website at apexplastics.com and get in touch with us today!
